The Human

Human Being is the best part of nature and being human is the best form of human beings. The history of the evolution of the human mind is very old. It is the human mind which has been developed from its different stages; the human mind makes a difference among human beings and other creatures of the universe. Human born, eats and dies like other animals, but the main difference between humans and animals is the USE OF MIND. When human uses its mind, it becomes victorious, that is why human has won the water, air, land and space. If a human does not use its mind, it becomes like an animal. Hence we can say that it is the use of mind which alters an animal into a human.

The evolution of human beings depends on the use of mind. Billions of the years ago human had used to live in open forests and mountains, at that time humans used to eat leaves of the trees and meat of the dead animals. They had nothing knowledge how to cover, they wear the leaves of the trees to cover themselves. At the beginning of the development of human beings, there was no difference between human beings and other animals. But when human beings started to use their mind, human beings started its development and create a difference among human beings and other animals. We can derive the meaning of human being from here; the first stage is that if we use our mind for our development as well as the development of other living beings, we are going to be a true human being.

Human has the most precious value of the entire universe i.e. the human mind. The human mind has developed from its various stages, which is very curious. The human mind tried to know more and more about nature. The curiosity of mind made the development of human beings, and it made a difference between human beings and animals. It is very true, at the beginning of the development, the human mind was its lowest form of existence but gradually developed with different stages. Human beings had started to face challenges from the very beginning. There were challenges to eat to live and to know the nature air, land, water and space and so many other things. Human beings could not even walk on their legs, they used to walk like animals with four legs, but gradually they learned to stand on their both legs. Now, human beings started to use two hands for the WORK, when they started to work with their hands, they became true human beings. We can derive the meaning of human beings from here that it is the use of hands and mind which makes an animal to the human being. Really I have found the true meaning of human being from here, human become a true human when it uses its forelegs to work and back legs to walk and uses mind for everything. If we will not use our hands to work and legs to walk by using our mind, we can never be a true human being and there will be no difference between human beings and animals. Use of mind was the first step when one of the species of animals converted into human beings, and use of legs to stand was the second, use of hands to work was the third. It shows us that work, work and works hard is the goal of human beings. In the beginning, the human mind was developing from its lower form of existence. It was a great day when they invented the fire. But it was not a station rather was a journey of the development of human beings. There is a chain of development and achievements, the station where we will stop to work; we will again convert into an animal. The human goal is to work, work and work, to avoid the life’s jerk we need to work, work and work.  Human used its mind and gradually won the air, water and space. Human beings made aeroplanes to win the sky, ship to win the water and rockets to win the space. It is human beings who have proved the greatness of mind. But still, human’s development and achievement is infinite, there is no end of the development. Human, who stops to struggle or to work, rejects himself from the category of human beings. Because human beings hands are to work and legs are to walk as well as mind is to think what is right and wrong. If we do not use our hands to work and mind to think how can we be a human being? In a real sense, human’s purpose and the journey are very wide .we having all the powers of the universe but we never realize it. We can achieve everything whatever we want to achieve but we need to work, work and work with the use of our mind.

In ancient time, a human could not travel a long distance within hours and days. It had taken many months and years. But now it is possible within hours and days. Today we can chat from one corner of the world to another corner within a few seconds. But it was impossible before many years ago, even it could not be imagined at that time. Now it has become possible to reach on the moon, which was impossible at ancient time. This is the great evolution of the human mind. Human

the mind has achieved so many achievements in the scientific field and developed too many physical facilities to make life happy. Human has developed its scientific and physical aspects very well. It has changed its whole lifestyle. Physical life is very comfortable with the invention of fridge, cooler, T.V., A/C, washing machine, computer and electricity. It is the human who has controlled the air and water and tried to win the nature. It is the human who has made possible the birth of a test-tube baby. But on the other hand, human has made us shameful; the human has made its moral life very trouble. We are proud to get so many physical facilities but other hands we are very shameful for the animal behaviour of human beings. Human beings are under conflict among the ideas, fight for their superiority of ideas. The conflicts of ideas have increased the distance between man and man, the selfish nature of human beings is also responsible for the clash among them. People fight for religion. Religion is the way to unite the people but people has made religion as a way to divide the people. I want to clear that humanity is the concept of every religion. Every religion shows the path of humanity; it is the meaning of human being. If we follow our religion without fighting with each other with love and peace to human beings, we will become a human in true sense .we should remember that firstly we all are human beings then others Hindu, Muslim, Sikh and Christian. If anyone will ask me to rank myself among Justice, scientist, teacher, president, prime minister, Hindu, Muslim, Sikh and HUMAN BEING, I will certainly say that you can found all others in one human being. It does not matter, whether the human is going to be a god or not, but if human remains to be human, even it is not lesser than anything. The human being is a very big concept in itself and it includes the highest values of life i.e. Love, Justice, Forgiveness, Honesty, Mercy and Kindness. One who has all these qualities will be a human being in true sense. We perform so many religious activities in our lives to please the God, but if our heart is not full of love, justice, mercy and honesty towards the living beings then God can never be pleased; God can be only pleasing if we pleased the all living beings. One who has no Love, Justice, Forgiveness, Kindness and Honesty; there is no religion in the world which can make one’s a true human being. Really, gold, diamond and silver are not the pieces of jewellery of human beings, but highest values of life i.e. love, justice, honesty, kindness and mercy are the pieces of jewellery of human beings; which contains every good virtue of the world. If one has all these qualities, need not perform any religious activities; these values are the essence of every religion of the world. One who has all these qualities is above

religious activities and is a perfect human being. To acquire these highest values of life is the meaning of being human.

I want to share some lines of my poem, which is inspired by the great English poet Rudyard Kipling’s poem, If -

If you can love everyone equally, without any partiality.
If you have honesty and mercy for all living beings.
If you are above the nature of selfishness.
And if you can win the heart of all living beings.
Then you are a true human being.
If you work, work and work hard and never complain to the lord.
If you can make a heap of your achievements, but you do not fear of losing.
If you can give you all the achievements to the needy ones, and work hard again.
Then you are a true human being.
If you are at the peak of success, but still free from ego.
If you are shinning like a star in the sky,
And you can bright the world by your light.
If you can eradicate the darkness of the world.
Then you are a true human being.
If you are not limited to self purposes,
But concerned about the whole world.
If you see a human in human,
And your actions are for the other's welfare.
Then you are a true human being.
If you can break the walls of scorn,
And the step which destroys humanity, are not yours.
If you respect the values of life and humanity,
And administer into the other's heart.
Then you are a true human being.
If you can make yourself honest,
While everyone is going on to the path of dishonesty.
If you can trust yourself,
When everyone is blaming you.
Then you are a true human being.
If you face difficulties, but you can defeat the difficulties.
If you believe in deeds, not in words,
And your actions are for the welfare of humanity.
If you can fight for your faults with yourself.
Then no one can defeat you.
And you are a true human being.
If you help the needy, without being selfish.
And kill the others pain,
If you can stand firmly for the truth,
When everyone is wrong.
Then you are a true human being.
If you can embrace your friends and foes both,
And you have the virtue of forgiveness.
If you can tolerate,
When others allege on you.
Then you are a true human being.
If you are ready to sacrifice yourself for others,
And do not make your passions your master.
If your heart is pure like a child,
And do your duty honestly.
Then you are a true human being.

   Today, human beings are indulged in so many inhumane practices; it seems to me that we are human beings only from our figures but not our thoughts and actions. Tears drop out from my eyes when I read or hear in the news that stepfather raped his daughter, uncle raped his niece, son murdered his father, bride burned alive for the demand of dowry and the soul vibrates when I hear that infant female girl was murdered in the womb of the mother before the birth. It is a matter of worry for us that why humans become blind for the selfishness? Where will go our entire society?

What will be the future of human beings? There is a fun of the relations; holy relations are polluted by human beings. If this will be going on continue, what will be the difference between animals and human beings? Perhaps, there will be no difference rather human will be considered worse than animals, because it has the power of the mind. Even animals do not kill their own child. But it is human who has crossed all the limits of humanity and going to become again animal. If we compare our life from the beginning of human life. In the beginning, the human had nothing knowledge about the relations, so they kill one another. But now we have knowledge about our relations but still, we kill one another. Really we are going back to the beginning age of human life again; which was an animal’s age of human. According to me, the human had converted from animal to human, but again human is going to convert from human to animal.

Really, I want to say that it is the greedy nature of human being, which is going to ruin the entire humanity. Man is blindly running behind the money. We never hesitate to do the wrong work for money. The money which comes from the wrong way can never satisfy you. But the money which comes with honesty and hard work can certainly satisfy you. Really, the virtues of human beings are greater than the money; which cannot be bought by the money but can be only bought by good actions. I strongly believe that beauty is nothing without virtues, handsome or beautiful is that who does handsome or beautiful. The real meaning of human being consists of the actions and thoughts of human beings, not in the colour of the skin. Every human being is equal without any discrimination of race, caste, sex, creed, place, religion, culture and country; no one can be made subject to brutality and slavery. We should think about the welfare of the whole world.

Really, it seems to be true that we are not human beings but we are only candidates for the post of human beings. The day when we start to think for others welfare and do some great works for others, we will become the true human being. Human beings life is very challenging; it faces so many challenges and mysteries of nature.

 The word human H-U-M-A-N itself means How U Manage and Assist Nature. So it is the human who has to manage and assist with nature with its very powerful mind and hands. One question always arises in my mind, what is the purpose behind humans’ birth and death? One born and another dies, hence there is a chain of birth and death but there is no end of this from billions of them years ago. My conscious replies to me that we are born to do some great works, we are here to do for the welfare of other living beings. We have been created to love and to be loved. Our purpose is very wide and our journey is very long. There are too many poor people who are waiting for help. There are too many evils, which needs to be destroyed. Where there are dark needs to be lighted. I am remembering the name of the former president of the United States of America Abraham Lincoln, who has given the best example of humanity. Once he was going with his friends, he saw a very dirty man lying on the street in a drunken condition with very bad smell. He asked his friends to lift the man and send to his home. His friends denied doing this, but he put the man on his soldiers and sends him to his home and helped him. Later on, he became the president of America. The country where is such persons became the world power.

The most serious problem is that everyone wants individual pleasure; they have nothing to do with others. We think only for our own pleasure, but we have to manage the entire humanity. We should learn the meaning of a human being from nature. The sun gives light and energy to the whole world by burning itself, the plants give us grains and foods to eat, the river never drinks its own water, trees gives us fruits and oxygen to live, the earth revolves around the sun. Everything of nature is doing its own duty perfectly, but it is only human beings who do not perform their duty; stupid human beings are indulged to disturb the natural order. We are polluting our environment besides being more capable than nature. Our concern increase, what will be the future of our next generation.

The word victory is generally associated in our minds with war and calls up the vision of battle, bloodshed and conquest by force. The power does not come from the barrels of guns. The battle cannot be won by the use of gun, pistol, atom bombs, but the battle can be won by the use of love and affection and nonviolence. The victory by the power of force is nothing because it can be suppressed again by the power of the force. But the victory, by the power of love and affection, is permanent. In my views, the world winner Alexander was nothing, who dreamed to win the world by the power of force, one who can win the world by the power of love and affection is the real Alexander as well as the real human being. Rule over the geographical territories of the countries is nothing, but to rule in the heart of the human beings is perfect. To forgive is often considered to be a sign of weakness; it is the sign of strength. The person who has the power to forgive is the most powerful person on earth. Forgiveness is the characteristics of great human beings. 

It is easy to allow oneself to be carried away by resentment and hate into an act of vengeance, but it takes a strong character to restrain these natural passions. Forgiveness turns a foe into a friend.

The victory of peace is even more glorious than the victory of the war. Human beings goal is to get pleasure in the pleasure of others. To live only for own self is not to live; life is that which is for others. Life for the others is meaningful. Pleasure is the thing of distribution, more distribute and more get the pleasure. To make happy to others is the goal of human life, and is the meaning of being human. The meaning of being human is to find a way to solve the problems not to create problems, but we solve less and create more problems for others. It is not the meaning of a human being. Men who are always grumbling about their poverty, complaining about difficulties, whining over their troubles, thinking that their lot in this world is mean and poor, will never get any happiness out of life and achieve any success. However life maybe if we face it bravely and try to do our best of it, we shall find that after all, it is not as bad as we thought.

If we change hate into love, laziness into labour or work and selfishness into the higher self of the entire living beings, injustice into justice, dishonesty into honesty, then doubtless, we will be the superpower into the world. Then we will get automatically the meaning of being human, and India will teach the meaning of being human to the whole world.        

Really, the meaning of being human is very wide; certainly, one can write a book on this topic. But I want to say in short that one whose heart is full of love, justice, mercy, honesty, kindness and sympathy for all living beings of the world and help to the poor and needy, till one’s last breath, is the perfect human being.
