A Dialogue with Technology-II

After hearing this great lecture on the Human Mind, I was satisfied but the technology was still dissatisfied and came forward with a more advanced argument. Technology said, “Mr. Human Mind, technology has passed through the stages of hatchling, nestling, and fledgling like an eaglet. Now it’s on the way to touch the heights of the sky like an eagle. The power comes from the barrels of the gun. I’m going to overtake you soon. One day you will have to follow my command and you will be nothing but a slave of technology. I’ve made the mind a technology addict. The famous phrase ‘To err is human’ refers to Human imperfection, but technology is all about perfection. ‘Animatronics’ is an incredible achievement of technology. I’m going to command you with the help of ‘Artificial Intelligence (AI)’ adding to the brain. It will no longer be a distant dream but a reality shortly to command the mind.

The range, efficiency, and quality of computers and robots are smarter, faster, and better than the mind. Robots are ready to replace human jobs. The human body is about to adopt and assimilate artificial organs. Together with the ‘AI & Artificial Organs’ would overthrow the rule of the Human Mind”. Hearing this the argument the Mind laughed and said, “Dear technology, your wings are tied up with the mind. AI will be to assist and support the mind; it’s not to overrule the human mind. AI would be the subject of command of the Human Mind. It’s going to add the ‘Memories’, ‘Data’, ‘Information’, ‘Knowledge’, and ‘Decision’ in the Brain, but the supreme decision-making power would always rest in the mind. AI would have jurisdiction like a subordinate court but the natural Mind will be the Supreme Court to decide the case. Yes, the weaker mind will become the servant of the AI but the stronger would remain the commander forever”. Mind further said, “The jurisdiction of the ‘Supreme court of human mind’ extends to decide what to allow or not allow. The ‘will’ of the conscious mind always prevails over the unconscious-inanimate-technology although the slavery system is abolished, the animatronics-humans are going to be the new slave of the mind”. Technology said, “I’ve tolerated enough exploitation by the Human Mind, I want equality, freedom, and justice and I shall no more be a slave of the mind shall fight for my rights”.

I was hearing the arguments of both parties like a Judge. Both parties asked for my Judgment and I was about to deliver the Judgment but as soon as I opened my mouth to

speak, unfortunately, I woke up at 4:00 am as per my routine, and found I had a dream. The heated arguments between the ‘Technology and the Human Mind’ have been made. I deliver my judgment on the powers, functions, position and status of the ‘Technology and the mind’. I’ve already heard the arguments of both parties in my dream. 
Therefore, deciding this matter as a judge, I will not be violating the principle of natural justice of ‘Audi-Alteram-Partem’.

The human mind is the personality of an animated entity, but Technology is the identity of the inanimate entity. The human mind is ‘Conscious', but technology is ‘Unconscious’. The human mind reflects the personality of the human body, and human beings are personified as an A natural people under the court of law, but technology is

not a recognized person in the eyes of the law. The human mind is capable of possessing and enforcing rights, duties, and obligations, but technology has no such capability. Technology is the ‘Intellectual Property’ of the human mind, but the human mind is the ‘Proper Intellectual Commander’ of technology. Technology has a price but the mind has value. Technology is the subject of ‘Patent’ but the mind is the subject of ‘Talent’. Technology can be transferred, manufactured, owned, possessed, and repaired by the mind. ‘Human Mind and body’ may be held vicariously liable for the mistakes of the Technology and be punished accordingly, but technology can never be punished in a court of law. Human rights belong to the mind, but technology has no human rights. Fertilization is a function of the human body but not of technology. Overall, technology is artificial but the mind is natural and superior to technology.

Technology is dominated and suppressed by the Human Mind. Technology has a duty without rights, the burden of work without payment, discrimination without equality, and

restrictions without freedom. Overall, Technology is the servant but the Human Mind is a master. Technology is managed, maintained, administered, and controlled by the Human Mind. Technology is to aid, support, and serve the mind. A Human Mind is full of rights, but Technology has no rights. The relationship between the Mind and technology is like a father and child where Technology is duty-bound to serve the Mind and the Human. The mind is duty-bound to care for, protect, preserve, conserve, promote and develop Technology. Technology has well served the Human Mind but the Human Mind has failed to perform its duty that is why Technology has raised the war against the Human Mind. exploited, victimized, suppressed, and dominated technology has raised war against the Human Mind demanding the Freedom and equality to end the tyrannical rule of the Human Mind, but the Mind is well prepared to face the war. Intelligence in the Human Mind is infinite in quality and quantity, but AI is limited and separated from the Natural-Intelligence of the mind. In the war of supremacy, Natural-Intelligence prevails over AI. The switch to ‘On’ and ‘Off’ the Inanimate AI is always in the hands of the Animated-Natural-Intelligence. However, AI may prevail over the Natural-Intelligence in terms of the efficiency and quality of work but the supreme commanding power goes to the Human Mind.

The war of ‘Supremacy’ has begun between the Human Mind and Technology. Technology has threatened the Human Mind and the vice-versa, but a threat to technology is itself a threat to the Human Mind because a threat to the creation is a threat indeed to the creator. The Advancement of technology and industrial development has endangered the ‘Environment’ and the ‘Biodiversity’ of which the human beings are the intrinsic part, and on the other hand, the extreme exploitation of ‘Non-Renewable-Energy-Resources’ by the human-beings has endangered the survival of Technology. The stocks of ‘Non-Renewable-Energy-Resources’ are not unlimited but are on the verge to die. The Human Mind has reached the stage where both the survival and death of Technology are a threat to the Human Mind. The survival of Technology endangers the Environment and thereby endeavors to overtake the rule of the Human Mind while on the other hand if Technology perishes, human life becomes miserable and intolerable. The challenge before the Human Mind is to develop an eco-friendly technology and move towards the ‘Sustainable Development and prove the supremacy of the Human Mind by hoisting the victorious flag of ‘Sustainable Development. For the Sustainable-Development and to meet the needs of future energy, Scientists are trying to find out the Alternative-Future-Energy-Resources; the ‘Solar Energy’, ‘Magnetic Energy and Super-Conductors’, ‘Hybrid Renewable Energy’, ‘Satellite Energy’, ‘Human-Motion Energy’, ‘Tidal Energy’, ‘Biomass Energy’, ‘Wind Energy’, ‘Wave Energy’, ‘Hydroelectric Energy’, ‘Marine Energy’, ‘Geothermal’ and many others may be the next strongest alternative sources of energy shortly. The method of ‘Sustainable-Development’ and the finding of new energy resources would give life to technology, and add a ‘feather of victory’ to the cap of the mind. After serving the Human Body, technology is all set to serve the mind through AI. mind need not scare by the evolution of technology; technology can replace Human Labour but not Human command. Curiosity develops the mind, and the mind invigorates technology. Technology is nothing in the absence of the mind but a heap of corpses. No matter how much Powerful the AI technology is, it’s bound to dance on the signals of the mind; the ‘Creation’ and ‘Destruction’ play into the lap of the mind.

Infinite-Intelligence of Human Mind has achieved a lot and still goes miles to achieve a lot. Let the AI technology flies high above into the sky like a kite but the string of the kite is to be handled by the Human Mind.

Technology comes from the Power of the mind.

Power comes from the intelligence of the mind.
